“We are proud to announce that our proposal for a Primary Authority partnership with West Yorkshire Trading Standards has been accepted by the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO).

Mr Ian Beardmore, director stated “As we grow and diversify as a business we are looking to provide firms with advice and training in areas of trading law other than Consumer Credit. By partnering with Trading Standards we have access to professionals who can help us deliver in areas such as the Consumer Rights Act. This, along with our other accreditations, puts us ahead of the game and  will instil confidence in firms out there.”

BRDO was created on 1 April 2012 as an independent unit within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. It operates across the United Kingdom from a base in central Birmingham. Its aim is to promote a simple and clear regulatory environment in which businesses have the confidence to invest and grow, and citizens and communities are properly protected.
